Story revolving around the international transport of racehorses and breeding stock, drawing on Dick Francis's R.A.F experiences and his wife Mary's,after she took flying lessons, eventually gaining her pilot's licence,buying her own 'plane,a Piper Cherokee,and both of them flying on a horse transporter to Italy.
